Our goal is to make Capitol Learning Academy an affordable option to any family in DC that wishes to attend. Tuition will be determined according to each family's individual circumstances. We will utilize information such as annual household income, assets and number to children to determine a tuition rate unique to each family that applies. This creates an "indexed tuition," recognizing each family's differing ability to contribute as valued and committed members of the CLA community.
A family may choose to opt out of the indexed tuition model and pay full tuition at $20,000.
Tuition will range between $2,000 and $20,000 per family, per year. Several factors are considered in determining the amount per family that applies to CLA, which can include number of children attending CLA, other liabilities and assets, significant medical costs, etc. For this reason, tuition ranges below are simply examples but are non-binding to what the final amount may be for an individual family.
*Specific tuition calculations will be made for each family during the application process. The above table is only an estimate.

The application process involves a combination of online forms, in-person meetings, and contact with previous schools.
